Top 10 Tips For A Healthy Lifestyle

As the start of the New Year one of the most common thoughts is "New Year, New You!" This is a great time for a fresh start with your lifestyle choices & your body. While most Americans start by getting a gym membership or going on a diet, we have something effective & easier. Here are 10 easy steps that wont just help you look better but feel better too!

  1. Take 10-30 mintue walk every day and while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.
  2. Eat more foods that grow on trees & plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants (factories).
  3. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almonds & walnuts.
  4. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college student with a maxed out credit card.
  5. Avoid energy drinks or anything else with high amounts of caffeine. Caffeine depletes the adrenals, causing chronic low energy. Instead go for some alkaline antioxidant water!
  6. Make time to practice meditation, yoga, stretching and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.
  7. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, "My purpose is to _____________ today."
  8. Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements: "I am thankful for _____________. Today I accomplished __________."
  9. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.
  10. The most important, your nervous system is the master controlling system of the body. If you want a healthy body, get adjusted by your Chiropractor to optimize your nervous system.
