Do-It-Yourself
Posture Check!
1. When you
look at a person from the front, the spine should be straight. The head,
shoulders, hips and feet should be lined up. (Figure A)
2. When you
look at a person from the side, the ears should be back over the shoulders and
the shoulders should be back over the pelvis. (Figure B)
What if it is uneven? Any case of abnormal posture means
that there is interference in the central nervous system. This person needs to
be checked by a Chiropractor for
subluxations. Ask about our referral or internet special for your friends and
family.
How to Check:
·
Is
the head straight? Or is it tilted, shifted or even jutted out in front? This
is a sign of Forward Head Posture.
·
Is
one hip higher, turned in or shifted to the side?
·
Is
one shoulder higher than the other?
·
Do
the toes of one foot point out more than the other foot?
If you, your friends or family have
any questions about their posture please give our office a call to schedule a
time to meet with our doctor.
